This year 2025, marks 10 years since the founding of Innangard, the international alliance of leading employment law firms.

What began as an idea among friends—colleagues who met at conferences such as the ABA, IBA, and EELA—has grown into a trusted global network of 19 member firms across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

We created Innangard because we saw a need: employers operating across borders face increasingly complex HR and legal issues. So we set out to build a collaborative network of premium employment lawyers who deliver strategic, practical, business-focused advice—with trust and friendship at its core.

Why the name »Innangard«?

In Norse mythology, Innangard means »within the enclosure«—a place of structure, trust, and safety among allies. It stands in contrast to Utangard, the chaotic world beyond. The name reflects our founding vision: to offer reliable, coordinated employment law services in a collaborative and secure environment.
