In this podcast, members of the leading international employment law alliance, Innangard, will discuss some of the legal tools and concepts that can contribute towards work-life balance, and will assess to what extent these have evolved as a result of the corona crisis.
In a globalized and increasingly digitalized work environment, a thought exercise on a healthy work-life balance has been pressing for some time. The corona crisis has served as, as so often happens during a crisis, a catalyst for certain concepts that play a role in the work-life balance.
Chaired by Jef Michielsen (Bellaw-Belgium) and with contributions from Inge Derde (Bellaw-Belgium), Anna Cozzi (Daverio&Florio-Italy), Naomi Latham (CM Murray-UK), and Bernadette Daly (CC Solicitors-Ireland) the panel will look at the following issues:
- the results of trials in Ireland and the UK around 4-day working week
- the practical concerns of the already established 4-day working week in Belgium
- the gradual emergence of the right to disconnect in Italy and Belgium
- the Code of Practice on Right to Disconnect in Ireland
- remote work in Belgium and Italy
If you would like to find out more about the matters discussed in this podcast, please contact any one of the panelists or visit the Innangard website, LinkedIn or Twitter account for more information and contact details.
